Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS)
This site provides information on which states
have mandatory requirements that their electric
utilities to generate a certain amount of electricity
from renewable sources, and which states have
voluntary requirements. Virginia's RPS is voluntary.

in order to promote clean sustainable sources
